1/52 + 2/52

Jan 10, 2014

I'm so excited to be joining in on this project where I'll be posting a weekly picture of Noah. I've seen this type of thing on countless other blogs and love the challenge it gives me to 1) capture Noah more consistently and 2) work on my photography and creative skills. I don't think this will be too hard a challenge since Noah's the most fun thing I've ever photographed. Having a new camera helps, too!

1/52 // Our new year's day hike.Noah spent most of the hike in our Beco carrier and loved every minute.
2/52 // yesterday's breakfast time, I spotted his cute little sock-less feet crossed just so and swinging back and forth.

We're planning on crossing some things off of our Nashville bucket list this weekend, and I've got a fun post planned to show you just what that list includes for next week sometime! Have an amazing weekend!

I am starting a 52 project as well, the plan is to take photos of myself and my husband. Actually together in a photo... we will see how that turns out!

  5. The little bub that I sit for crosses his little feet like this too! Noah is such a cutie pie - look at those beautiful brown eyes!!!

I'm attempting the 52 week challenge for this first time on my blog as well - I needed something to push me to take more pics of my kids...I used to be a professional children's photographer, but found that when I took pics for a living, I wasn't in the mood to do it as much in my "down time." (BAD MOMMY!) I closed up shop over a year ago due to the slow economy, so I'm excited to find my photography mojo again.

Hope you are having a great Friday!

  7. Love this! I did a project 365 a few years ago (twice, actually) and really liked it, but knew there's no way I could do it every day again (unless it was with my phone). I LOVE the idea of featuring one photo a week, plus I want to be more diligent with taking pictures with my camera instead of my phone. Hmmm think it's too late to start?

  10. What a fun project! I'm doing a 20 week challenge but if I had a kid I'd totally do this one.

You're pictures are great. Once you get used to your new camera maybe you could post what settings you took them on. =) I bet people would give you good feedback and it would be educational for others. Just a thought =)

  17. What a great project! I love love the feet photo too! Some of my favorite kid photos to grab are hands or feet you just see so much of them by not seeing them I think :)
