This weekend, M and I met my parents and my sister and her husband in Pigeon Forge to spend a few days. It seems to accidentally become a yearly tradition for us and probably will continue to be as long as we live where we do. It's a great halfway point where we can get a beautiful cabin and enjoy the view and each other.

This particular weekend just happened to be my beautiful sister's birthday. I've missed her so much lately and it was good to spend time with her. It's always hard at the end of the long weekend to go our separate ways, knowing they'll be going back together to the place I miss the most as M and I drive to what is, in an entirely too slow manner, becoming our familiar. I'll always cherish these moments with my family and never take them for granted.
